It’s probably not the appropriate mix to attribute to my recently deceased mum since she wasn’t exactly a trance fan, but it’s the only one I have. She did at least love the first track of it, ‘Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song)’ by Safri Duo. So, here’s to you mum, the toughest woman I’ve ever known. I love you and I’ll see you on the other side one day.

Anyway, I said I’d veer away from house music and have duly done so. It’s all classic stuff since trance appears to have gone more techno/electro in the last decade, which is a shame. There are some absolute bangers in this, trust me.
